Ringheye perform St Bean's near the Anderton Boat Lift

The Ringheye band is always open to new members. While the accordion in its many forms is the instrument most commonly associated with Morris, almost any portable acoustic instrument can be used and probably has! Fiddles, whistles, flutes and drums are frequently heard and there is a tradition with North West Clog Morris, the style danced by Ringheye, for the local brass band to provide the music.

Ringheye's music is not limited to the standard morris tunes. It is diverse, from many sources, offering new challenges to those familiar with the morris traditions. So if you play an instrument and can carry a tune, why not get in contact with us. You don't need to live in Mobberley to join and you don't have to commit to coming every week although fairly regular attendance is desirable.
